The default 4/4 120-bpm settings of the DAW can confine the artist much like the standard EADGBE tunings of a guitar. Experimenting within Dream lead to right-angular shifts between 7/8 and 6/8 time signatures throughout the verse, chorus and bridge sections (diagram 2).
